A Mentor, a Cheerleader, an Advocate, a Mother, an Educator
Elizabeth Norwood is an Educational Therapist who has worked with children for more than 10 years in the Los Angeles area. Supporting families and children within the home and school environment, she is passionate about educating the whole child. She addresses the needs of children academically, socially, emotionally and behaviorally.
Her child centered approach and innate ability to attune to children's needs sets her apart from other professionals. By building upon the foundation of each child's individuality, she empowers children by teaching techniques and strategies for them to be successful in whatever challenges they may encounter. Her goal is for children to have deep, enriching, and meaningful lives by teaching them how to maintain connectivity to their greatest selves.
You can gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face... You must do the thing which you think you cannot do. - Eleanor Roosevelt
